WHO YOU ARE
You are a technically skilled implementation professional with hands-on experience integrating hospitality software systems. You understand how data flows from property management systems, point-of-sale platforms, and enterprise applications into analytics platforms. You are comfortable working with APIs, troubleshooting data pipelines, and ensuring customers have clean, reliable data feeding their IN-Gauge deployment.
You may come from backgrounds such as:
- Technical Implementation Consultant or Integration Specialist within hospitality technology
- Data Engineer or ETL Developer with hospitality or enterprise SaaS experience
- Solutions Engineer supporting PMS, POS, or hospitality platform integrations
- Professional Services Engineer with hands-on API and data pipeline experience
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Technical Implementation Consultant, you will own the technical delivery of IN-Gauge implementations, ensuring seamless data integration from customer systems and reliable platform activation.
Data Integration & Pipeline Development
- Design and configure data ingestion pipelines from PMS (Opera, Infor, Mews, etc.), POS (Toast, MICROS Simphony, Aloha, etc.), and other enterprise systems
- Execute data extraction processes using ETL/ELT methodologies appropriate to customer environments
- Work with data lakes and warehouses (S3, Redshift, Snowflake) to ensure proper data staging and storage
- Implement data normalization processes, mapping customer data to IN-Gauge canonical models and schemas
- Configure and monitor event streams, batch jobs, and real-time data processing as required
- Integrate customer systems via REST APIs, GraphQL endpoints, webhooks, and file-based transfers
- Configure authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API keys, tokens) and manage rate limiting considerations
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues, data discrepancies, and pipeline failures
- Document integration specifications and data mappings for each implementation
- Act as the primary technical contact during implementation
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer system architecture and data availability
- Collaborate with customer IT teams to establish secure, reliable data connections
- Provide technical training on data flows, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness throughout the implementation
- Monitor early data quality and pipeline performance
- Document technical configuration, known issues, and operational considerations
- Ensure smooth technical handoff to Customer Success and Support teams

- Integrations are completed on time with full technical documentation
- Customers have confidence in their data quality and understand their integration architecture
- Clear technical handoffs with minimal post-implementation escalations
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Experience implementing hospitality software (SaaS, POS, PMS, or related hospitality platforms)
- Hands-on experience with data ingestion pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Working knowledge of APIs: REST, webhooks, authentication methods, rate limiting, error handling
- Familiarity with data lakes/warehouses (S3, Redshift, Snowflake, or similar)
- Understanding of data normalization, schema design, and canonical data models
- Experience with batch processing, scheduled jobs, or event-driven architectures
- Experience with hospitality-specific systems: Opera, Infor HMS, Toast, MICROS Simphony, Aloha
- SQL proficiency for data validation and troubleshooting
- Exposure to real-time streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, or similar)
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools for data pipelines
- Strong technical communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously
- Systematic approach to troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
COMPENSATION
Base Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
