POSITION SUMMARY
As an Independent Contractor for Business Development, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth within a defined territory by identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities in the hotel industry. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Business Development, particularly those who have sold SaaS solutions to the hospitality sector.

WHO YOU ARE
You are an experienced independent sales contractor with a successful track record in SaaS sales, especially within the hospitality industry. You thrive in high-volume outbound prospecting environments and are adept at using tools like SalesLoft. You possess strong sales cycle management skills and have a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers. You have strong connections within the hospitality industry, particularly in Thailand. You have relationships with General Managers, Revenue Directors, ownership groups, etc., and are very familiar with both markets.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will drive revenue by engaging in high-volume outbound prospecting, managing the entire sales process, and building relationships with hotel industry clients. You will develop a deep understanding of the company's platform, strategically manage your territory, and collaborate with the marketing team to enhance lead quality and conversion rates.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT
- Sales Prospecting: Conduct cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to identify and qualify potential hotel clients within your assigned territory.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the sales process from initial contact to deal closure, ensuring alignment with the company's sales process.
- Client Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with decision-makers in hotel groups and individual properties.
- Product Knowledge: Gain a thorough understanding of the company’s platform and tailor your approach to meet client needs.
- Territory Management: Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce and SalesLoft to track activities, manage pipelines, and maximize sales opportunities.
- Lead Generation: Leverage LinkedIn and Sales Navigator for networking, building connections, and sourcing new leads.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to align on lead quality, conversion strategies, and customer engagement tactics.
- Sales Presentations: Create and deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the company’s value proposition and ROI potential for clients.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate sales activity records in CRM systems.
- Training and Development: Continuously participate in sales and product training to stay current on the company’s offerings and industry trends.
- GM Best Practice Workshops: Lead and coordinate complimentary workshops for targeted hotels to drive engagement and sign-ups, working with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 5+ years in sales, preferably in sales (ideally SaaS) within the hospitality industry
- Outbound Sales: Proven success in SDR roles, including high-volume cold calling and lead generation
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and sales engagement tools like SalesLoft
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade senior executives
- Self-Motivation: A strong self-starter with a "can-do" attitude, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30% for client meetings and industry events
- Education: Degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or a related field
- Languages: Proficiency in English
- SaaS Sales: Experience selling technology products or SaaS solutions into the hospitality sector.
- Social Selling: Strong LinkedIn presence with experience using Sales Navigator for lead generation and relationship building

Compensation: $30,000-$50,000 USD (based on level of experience) + lucrative commission
